Richard's 1965 GTO 517cid Pontiac engine was built by Muscle Motors, for the sole purpose to be driven far and raced hard - this is no trailer queen. This engine has Edelbrock Cylinder Heads, Custom Solid Roller Camshaft, 94mm Turbo, EFI Fuel Injection and makes 1200 RWH on pump gas and 1500 RWH on race fuel.

Owner Todd Blakney knows about chasing a dream. He started in the automotive industry in 1981 and began automotive machining in 1982.

He then went on to pursue a 4-year certification in Automotive Machining in Toronto while working at a well-known performance shop. Todd returned to Strathmore, Alberta in the early 90’s seeking a full-time career in engine building, automotive machining, and vehicle restoration.

Todd Blakney is a genuine Pontiac enthusiast. At the age of 16 he purchased a 1972 455 4 Speed GTO which generates 585HP and 580 ft torque. He still owns this car today. He went on to create his dream car, Psyco Bird, a custom green 1970 Dodge Super Bee/Bird, completing this project in 2016.
